We aim to respond to all support tickets within 24–48 hours on business days. Urgent issues involving service outages are typically addressed faster. You'll receive an email confirmation when your ticket is submitted and again when we reply.
You'll receive a unique ticket ID in your confirmation email (e.g. SMART-00001). To follow up on your ticket, simply reply to the confirmation email or send a new email to support@shootsmart.info with your ticket ID in the subject line.
The AI Assistant requires an active internet connection and may occasionally be unavailable during high traffic or maintenance windows. Check the Status Page to see if there's a known issue. Force-closing and reopening the app usually resolves temporary hiccups. If the problem persists, please open a support ticket.
Data sync requires a stable internet connection. Try these steps:
  1. Ensure you're signed in with the same Photographer ID on both devices.
  2. Force-close the app and reopen it.
  3. Wait 30–60 seconds for sync to complete.
  4. Check that you have an active data or Wi-Fi connection.
If sync is still failing, open a support ticket and include your Photographer ID.
Updates are delivered automatically through the App Store. Open the App Store, navigate to your profile, and pull down to refresh updates. If an update is available for ShootSmart, tap Update. The latest version is 1.2 (24).
Select Bug Report from the category cards above to open a pre-filled ticket form. Please include: what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and your device model and iOS version. The more detail you provide, the faster we can diagnose and fix the issue.
Most of ShootSmart's tools and calculators — including Exposure, Depth of Field, and Bokeh — work fully offline. The AI Assistant, data sync, and Photography Guides require an internet connection.
